Providing Support

“This group has immense value to me. There really is no appropriate word to describe sitting in a room full of other moms who know how it feels to be in your shoes. They understand the fear, the sadness, the guilt, the anxiety and the joys that having a child with T1D brings on a daily basis. I started going to the group many years ago for support and to not feel alone. I still go to the group to see my friends, get support and now I give support as well.”
